On April 21, 2015, Oskar Gröning, age 94, a German former SS-Unterscharführer who was stationed at Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, was put on trial for accessory to murder in 300,000 cases. The jewish victims arrived from Hungary between May 16, 1944 and July 11, 1944 to Auschwitz-Birkenau where they were gassed to death.
